This help athletes understand inertia and momentum. It also makes the first BMU effortless.
When teaching a class this is one of the easiest skill to setup and spot. This drill is amazing for beginner because the only strength required is the ability to keep shoulders active and maintaining a hollow body in the first portion of the swing.
Reducing the length of the box or bench in front of the pull up bar will help your most beginners in class. Have fun!
