We shine a light on one of our #BlackGirlJoyChallenge winners, Mila. Mila dedicated her project to putting together boxes for young Black girls who have experienced mental health challenges from inpatient hospital care to bullying. Mila hand delivered these boxes so the girls would know people in their community are thinking about them and they have support.  Mila may be young but she is FIERCE! She already has big goals for the future and established the @mhboxes, a non-profit organization that delivers boxes to black girls who are admitted to mental health facilities and receive support from community organizations.
