Port Baseball had a successful week as they finished 2-2. The Vikings picked up their first conference win against Syosset and also won their Coaches vs Cancer game against Mineola! - In game 1, Parker Workman got the ball for port and he faced off against Alex Larson vs Syosset. Port got off to a hot start with a Chris Carillo single that scored Dylan Epstein. Workman lasted 3.1 Innings giving up 3ER, then Dustin Noto came in the game giving up 0ER in 2.2 Innings. The Vikings dropped the game 4-3. - Game 2 was nothing short of a pitchers duel as Michael Andrew battled Jackson Bullaro at home. The former teammates were spot on as neither team scored until the 6th inning. The Vikings struck first on a suicide squeeze by Anthony Iuorio. They proceeded to score 2 more runs in the 6th.
