Last week, Port Field Hockey 🏑 took on Manhasset and Carle Place. They also honored the 8 seniors at their final home game. • The game at Manhasset was a struggle, the top tier team was able to put away 7 goals, but Port rallied. After letting Manhasset score 6 times in the first two quarters, Port was able to hold their ground and only let one in during the second half. Senior Forward Rachel Nissan was able to score, assisted by Brooke Weinstein. This goal was only the 4th scored against Manhasset this season, an incredible feat. • At the Senior/Pink game, the girls faced Carle Place. The opposing team played an aggressive game, but Port was able to play with honor, sportsmanship, and integrity. Port scored early in the first quarter during a penalty corner inserted by Jae Longaro and finished by Rachel Nissan.
