Boys Varsity Soccer had two tough games last week as they took on East Meadow and Valley Stream Central. • On Tuesday, the boys had an away game against East Meadow. Derrick Suarez and Sean McClellan both put one in the back of the net. The team played together and pulled off a 2-0 win to send them to 1-1 on the season. • The first game under the new lights at the turf with a large audience was played on Friday night. They were facing Valley Stream which was a tough opponent. Valley Stream scored in the beginning of the game making it 1-0 but the boys still played their hearts out for every minute. Christian Mendoza scored in the 75th minute off of a break away making it 1-1.
