Over the past 3 weeks, Girls Swimming and Diving had picked up 2 wins from their last 3 meets! • In their senior meet against South Side, the girls had a very strong meet winning with a score of 100-83. The team got 1st place in every event with impressive swims from Madi Shields who placed first in the 100 and 200 Freestyle, Senior Sasha Hyde in the 100 Backstroke and Senior Abby Hurt in the 50 Freestyle. • In a meet against Great Neck South, the team had a close loss with a score of 81-94. Despite the loss, Senior Gwen Gould won both the 50 and 100 Freestyle. Savannah Aarons placed 1st in the 100 Breaststroke and Sarah Braunschweiger placed 1st in diving. • In their last regular meet of the season, the girls had a win against Hewlett with a score of 54 to 44. Madi Shields won the 100 Freestyle and the 200 Freestyle Relay team comprised of Madi Shields, Abby Hurt, Savannah Aarons and Gwen Gould also placed 1st.
