Girls Basketball started off their season on a roll with a record of 3-1! • Last Saturday in the teams season opener, the girls took down Hicksville 52-25. Sophomore Natalie DeMeo led the team in scoring with 31 points, including 8 three pointers. Sophomore Kate Schmitz scored 9 points and had 7 rebounds and 5 steals. • On Tuesday, the team beat Westbury 54-35. Sophomore Natalie DeMeo scored 23 points. Sophomore Kate Schmitz scored 14 points, had 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Sophomore Emily Bersin scored 3 points and had 7 rebounds. • Today the team played Uniondale and won 57-47. Sophomore Natalie Demeo scored 28 points (6 three pointers) and had 3 steals. Sophomore Kate Schmitz scored 13 points, had 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 assists.
