Over the past two weeks, Port Gymnastics had a rocky start to the season. The team went 1-2 with a fantastic win over Wantagh! • The girls’ first meet taking place last Saturday against Wantagh. With a strong start to the season they girls won with a score of 150.15. • On Monday, the team fought long and hard and ultimately lost to Syosset, the number 1 team in the county. The ending score was 155.8 to 167. • After a defeating loss on Monday, The team, led by Coach Fallon, faced the number two team in the county: Plainview. The girls celebrated the seniors and commemorated their wonderful achievements over their years on the team. This meet was a nail bitter however the girl’s unfortunately loss with a score of 163.45 to 160.55.
