The final athlete in our Senior Spotlights Series is Muhlenberg College Men’s Lacrosse commit, Aidan Murphy (aidan__murphy27 )! - Aidan is a 3-year starter for the Vikings’ varsity lacrosse team. While he plays both long-stick midfield and close defense for Port, he is committed to play long-stick midfield for the Mules. - Murphy is a big-time playmaker on defense and is known around the island for his takeaway checks. His raw athleticism, quick feet, elite stick skills, and high lacrosse IQ make him an excellent on-ball defender. Growing up, Murphy often played attack, which is where his dazzling stick skills originate. - As a junior, Aidan was the team’s go-to defenseman and always guarded the opposing team’s top threat. He played fantastic defense on some of the best players on Long Island, which included opponents committed to Yale, Maryland, Lehigh, and Hofstra. - Additionally, Murphy has earned impressive accolades.
