Next up on our Senior Spotlight is Binghamton Track and Field commit Taiki Hirooka (taiki.hirooka)! - Taiki spent all 4 years as a valued member of the track team, and has continuously made his presence felt. His athletic prowess is undeniable, and he has set numerous Port records. These include school records in the 100m, 55m, and 4x 100 races. - Taiki has qualified for several national tournaments, including the New Balance Nationals as a sophomore and the USATF Junior Olympics in Sacramento, California! - Additionally, he has consistently ranked in the Top 10 for numerous categories on Long Island. Most notably in the 100, in which he ranked 4th in both Nassau and Suffolk County. - Needless to say, Taiki is a very accomplished runner, and has shined a bright light on Port Athletics.
