ICYMI: We’re so proud of Miss Mississippi Hannah Roberts, named first runner-up in Sunday’s Miss America competition!! A biochemistry major with a minor in biology, Roberts graduated summa cum laude at Southern Miss this past May. A Goldwater Scholar, she was named the outstanding senior from the College of Science and Technology and is a member of the Southern Miss Student Hall of Fame. She has already been accepted into medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, deferring enrollment for a year in order to serve as Miss Mississippi.
