There’s just something about college summer ball and long bus rides through small towns in the Midwest. This was my first shot to be the voice of a team and seven years later it still ranks as one of the best summers of my life. I called my first game on my 22nd birthday and called the first playoff game in franchise history. 🔩🔥 It’s where I built the confidence that carried me to pro ball, where “All MIKE’d Up” was born, where I made some lifelong friends, and where I truly broke out of my comfort zone.
