RIDER SPOTLIGHT: Meet your Western Team Captain, Annon Blue! Annon is a third year Sustainable Agriculture Major with a Geology minor. She grew up with horses in Southern Pines, NC and competed in NBHA, 4H, and high school rodeo. She got to compete all over the east coast in barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying. Now, in college, she is enjoying perusing other disciplines, including western pleasure, jumpers, and driving! She still owns her 10 year old barrel horse, Spartan, who is now one of the guide horses at her job, running a trail riding barn here in the High Country!
