Happy Solstice!
☀️On this, the day of the year with the most daylight hours ("longest day"), we may find our "yang" energy to be quite high. We have many hours to be active, fueled by the sun, and find that we can go go go! 👏For many of us, that is a very welcome change to 6 months prior where we find ourselves indoors and inside (ourselves) as we experience more hours of darkness than daylight. But, for many, this high energy can also be too much😵💫. It can be too churning, or feel like it burns us out. Even for those who love the sun and active life, we can become exhausted from too much yang. What to do?
In Pranakriya yoga, we balance out the churning with integration 💜. We love to raise the energy, but we also prioritize letting that settle out and observe what comes up for us.
