Houston, today is Make Music Day! This free day of live music started in France in 1982 to mark the summer solstice and has since spread all over the world, including our very own city! HoustonMOCA spearheads this event in Houston, together with many partners in the arts and consular spaces. This year, the kick-off event happened in Market Square Park DowntownHouston with Council Member Martinez, MOCA, the French consulate in Houston, and DowntownHouston+ with a performance by the musician Leslie Lugo!
