They are traditionally eaten by the local indigenous groups and can be found at acairestaurante, a restaurant focusing on Amazonian food in Bogota. Chef andrewscocina serves them stuffed with Pirarucú (a large Amazonian freshwater fish) and Amazonian herbs, with native Colombian potatoes, Farofa (toasted cassava), and Tucupi sauce (a yellow, slightly spicy sauce made with wild manioc root found the Amazon jungle) on the side.
