BRIOCHE BREAD 🍞 This was my first time making brioche bread and it turned out so good! I mean, it’s far from perfect, but I’m so pleased. There’s just something about pushing yourself to make a recipe that’s difficult & outside your comfort zone. ✨Ingredients: •1 1/4 cup milk (110 F) •1/4 + 3/4 granulated sugar, divided •2 tsp dry active yeast •8 1/2 cups bread flour •1 tsp salt •6 + 1 medium eggs (room temperature) •2 tsp vanilla extract •1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature) In a bowl, combine warm milk, 1/4 cup sugar, and yeast using a whisk. Leave in a warm place for 20 minutes, until it becomes frothy. Add flour, salt, and remaining sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer. Pour yeast on top and make sure to scrape the bowl well and get every bit of froth. Mix for 30 seconds using the hook attachment at low speed.
