"A mantra I strive to raise my children by is: ‘She Believed She Could, So She Did.’⁠ This not only speaks to me as a statement I want my children to know and understand for themselves, but also for our hardworking, determined, loving and dedicated mothers. Being a mother can look different for many of us, but I think we’re in agreement when we talk about helping our children dream without limits and be courageous in all sorts of ways.⁠ ⁠ I think we best teach our children how to learn and love, by showing compassion and kindness to them, those around us, and ourselves. We have to prioritize ‘us’ even when the days get heavy and parenting seems to have no end. We gather our strength when we feel we are at our wits end and keep moving forward. We do this to teach our children that determination perseveres, love is never-ending, and the commitment we make to our children is strong and true.
