That “pill” has more patents on it than the rest of the drone! It had to be able to pick up *and* drop off the tote easily, but also hold onto it securely during flight - all while not adding additional wind resistance or significant weight to the drone. I could make an entire video on that little yellow clip alone! But, like many new technology-driven services, policy restrictions are one of the biggest hurdles. Drone delivery services argue that in order for them to scale operations, the FAA will need to adapt and establish a new set of rules for their growing industry.
