The floating stickwoman works for 3 reasons:⁣ ⁣ 1) due to the oily silicone polymers used in them, dry erase marker ink is less sticky than regular ink, so it is easily unstuck from the plate with water⁣ ⁣ 2) it doesn't dissolves in water.
