Here we are conducting a common Acid-Base Reaction. What you need: Baking Soda (any amount - let's say a few spoonfuls) Lemon juice (or vinegar - about a couple spoonfuls) Food coloring (optional, but is it really? because it makes this so pretty!) Acid Base reactions are everywhere, from acid rain to cookies. When they're mixed together they form water and a salt, and with baking soda we get those things + carbon dioxide! That's what makes this experiment so fun! #stayathomescience
