Filming at Ivanpah Solar Thermal Facility: largest of its kind in the world! 🌞🌍 there are 60,000 mirrors per section. Each mirror moves to follow the sun throughout the day in order to direct sunlight to a tower with water in it. The sunlight heats up the water until it boils and becomes steam. This high powered steam then turns a turbine, translating mechanic energy to electrical energy!
