And now for the big reveal! Friday Night’s Autism Awareness Specialty Jerseys are here!
Not only have we revealed the jerseys, but they are already up on the LiveSource app from now until the end of the game on Friday night.
These jerseys are being auctioned/raffled off as part of another edition of our “Hockey Helps” initiative. Proceeds from this raffle will go towards the family of 2-year-old Scout Pace (Joe Pace Jr.’s son) who has Sensory Processing Disorder, an early indicator of autism in young children.
The Autism Speaks foundation estimates that 1 in 54 children nationwide are diagnosed with Autism and early intervention affords the best opportunity to support healthy development and deliver benefits across the lifespan.
Scout is currently in 5+ hours per week of occupational and speech therapy to help with his condition. Funds raised from these jerseys will go to help what insurance does not cover.
