Our first award to reveal today is the Bechard Award. The Bechard Award is our version of the "Player's Player" award. There's no set criteria, there's no committee votes, there's no fan votes, the only people deciding this award are the players in the locker room. To win this award means you have the respect of your brothers you take the ice with every single day. Maybe you have the most points, maybe you're the funniest guy in the locker room or maybe you're just a good buddy for your teammates. Whatever criteria players used to vote, we know it was diverse because 12 different players received votes on this award.
