“You can do anything.” Dave Dafoe ’84 has always remembered his grandmother’s words from the moment she said them. Founder of Flavorman, Dafoe did not always know he would be a “supertaster.” Miami played an important role in his life and he continues to be involved with his alma mater by judging competitions and serving on university boards. Dafoe recently made a generous estate gift of $30.1 million to the College of Arts and Science that will provide scholarships for high-need students.
