Today, we're highlighting two projects that are helping feed Kansas Citians during the Covid crisis. The marckcmetro Department of Aging and Adult Services is delivering meal boxes, including fresh produce from Kanbe's Markets and other groceries directly to older adults in our area. theriegerkc - acting as Crossroads Community Kitchen - has now served 70,000 (!) meals in the past 3 months while preserving jobs for hospitality workers.
