leaving Singapore end of last year was one of the hardest things i’ve had to do. when the plane took off, i immediately started crying. migrating from the country you’re born and raised in isn’t easy. you leave behind your friends and whole life. it sucks to know that i probably won’t be there for many important events, first one being that i’m missing one of my besties 21st birthday next week. 😢 i have been back to Singapore three times this year and was last there in May for three weeks to visit my friends, and now ex-boyfriend, before coming over to England, and i am grateful that i could last visit 3 months ago. i’m forever grateful for all the experiences and memories i have from Singapore, all the amazing friends and people i’ve met (that i miss everyday so terribly), the culture, and of course THE FOOD. 🤤 we complain a lot, but once you leave, we realise how wonderful Singapore really is. the people who know me know that i love the song HOME, and that i am the most patriotic ...
