Check out this challenging move from jasonstacy_performancecoach … It’s a kneeling to split stance iso, with a touch of rotational tension/load on the forward leg hip! Woop Woop! This exercise is great for improving hip internal rotation by engaging the torso and pelvic rotation towards the closed hip. To try it out, start in a long tall 1/2 kneeling position, then shift your weight to your forward leg, rotate your torso towards that leg, press down on the ball of your foot while raising your heel (using the Kinesis Board for added challenge), and slightly lift your back knee off the floor for a nice isometric burn. There are plenty of variations to try, so experiment and see what works best for you! And don’t forget to tag us, so we can support you along the way! #workoutoftheday #fitnessroutine #balanceboardtraining
