US Army SGT Alfredo Alvarez: He’s been a HEAT fan since he was 9 years old. When he was on those tours and if there was any possible chance he could watch the HEAT play he would. The uniform he gave me was the last uniform he wore after 10 years of service and he told me he cried when he took it off for the last time. He told me if he ever had the chance to give it to Udonis Haslem he would do it without question. He was so thankful for the opportunity to swap Jerseys with me. He’s been to Iraq and Afghanistan twice and received over 10 combat medals and awards. This is something I now consider one of my most prized possessions. I'm extremely humbled and honored that a Hero like SGT Alvarez thought so highly of me. Yes I did say Hero!!! That's what he is to me.
