Our two Weka 'fillies' are now officially four-year-old mares (belated happy birthday for 1 August 🥳) and are preparing to kick off their Spring campaigns in the next couple of weeks. Trainer Terri Rae has indicated Maryweka may start at Riccarton on 2 September, and Jim Wallace has Pennyweka pencilled in for a trial at Foxton on 29 August before she tackles the G1 Tarzino Trophy (1400m) in Hastings on 9 September. We also have a fledgling Weka that we'll officially introduce soon, but here's a hint... she's 'good'. #GallopingWekas #Spring
