A happy ending to Grand National week Riccarton Park Racecourse for Izymydaad, who took a tumble in the main steeplechase event on the final day. The 11-year-old gelding knuckled on landing after jumping a brush fence, dislodging its rider then falling. The horse lay on the track for a few minutes with the race day veterinarian present, before getting to his feet appearing to have been winded and fatigued.
