A little over a year ago, 'Gripper' was tasked with picking up a horse in poor condition from Ngāruawāhia in the Waikato for the SPCA. Affectionally named Boy, he has gone from being a critically unwell, sad horse with a dismal future to living his 'best life.'
The mission of the NZ Horse Ambulance Trust is to promote and protect equine welfare, and to assist the wellbeing of New Zealand's horses, by ensuring our response is of the highest standard.
We could not be prouder of the outcome for these two, beating the odds. 🤠
