Trainer, Michael Pitman and his team, were grateful for help received from specialist equine vet and one of our Trustees, Peter Gillespie to extricate seven horses that were trapped in an overturned horse float. Dr Gillespie has taken an interest in technical large animal rescue, attending an emergency animal incident forum in Melbourne earlier in the year, and worked closely with volunteer firefighters to safely get all of the horses out in one piece. #GoodNews #TechnicalLargeAnimalRescue #TLAR
