Meet Jo Starr, Operations and Engagement Manager, who was employed by the Trust in a part-time role in January. Jo worked behind the scenes as a volunteer for two years before that and has skills and experience in management, communications and fundraising.
Jo's role is to help raise awareness and funds for the charity, and coordinate the operational needs of the service.
Last year Jo led a community fundraising campaign that raised over $100,000 to help

In 2020 she was a Finalist in the NZTR Award for Contribution to Media, Digital & Content, finishing in the First4 with Te Akau Racing.
