Everybody loves to say “the outdoors is for everyone”. They often tout being respectful and inclusive until they see someone who doesn’t fit their idea of who should be outside. I have been discredited my entire career. When I started reporting on sports, I was told I didn’t know what I was talking about. When I got tapped to be a weather forecaster in market 12 at 22 years old, I was told I didn’t know what I was talking about. When I became the press secretary for the AZ Attorney General at 26, I once again was told I didn’t know what I was talking about. The people who said that were wrong. I excelled at all of those things. Why did they wanna discredit me? I genuinely have no idea except that… they were probably just a-holes.
