⛰Are you thinkin’ what I’m thinkin’? ⛰ Teddy & I continue to take small hikes to get acquainted with our new trail setup and it’s going so well! I’ve been doing easy hikes I know well and teaching Teddy where to put his hands so he keeps them out of mama’s hair 🙃 I talk Teddy through every step of the process. Before I put him on my back I look him in the eyes and tell him we are a team. I let him know that if he wants down that’s okay. In our own way not a single other person would understand, we are constantly communicating. His pointing to trees, birds and rocks along with his joyful chirps tells me he’s enjoying this journey so far. I am very used to facing criticism for the things I chose to do as a solo female adventurer and in this chapter, I am ready to hear it all over again.
