I once’s prayed hard for the things we have now. Teddy spent 9 days in the newborn nursery at the beginning of his life. I would spend every day careful trying to feed him breast milk with an itty bitty newborn bottle only for him to reject it. No one knew why but the assumption was that his birth was traumatic and sent him into distress that caused a delay in eating. I remind myself daily how lucky we are for the nurses and doctors who helped us through that very scary time.
