Kazuhiro “Kaz” Iwasaki is proud of the impact he has on people’s lives as part of HPE’s Talent Management Solutions and DEI team. “Throughout my life, I wanted to do something for others,” he says. Kaz does just that, helping people through his work and in his community. He launched the Japan PRIDE local chapter last year and he’s been instrumental in creating awareness around same sex marriage issues in Japan and growing allyship. His compassion is matched by his empathy. While Kaz has found coming out to be liberating and positive, he understands and supports people who are not yet ready. Throughout his life he strives to offer others a safe space and to be inclusive. Working in technology fits into that vision, providing opportunities to make things better on a global scale, he says.
