Chad comes from military lineage and his grandfather was both a firefighter and soldier in the Army who taught him to take pride in his service to his country and community. When he joined the Navy, Chad served as an Operation Specialist on the USS New Jersey (BB-62) and USS California (CGN-36) and eventually found his way to Idaho as a recruiter for the Navy, where he fell in love with the state.
Chad is Mission43’s Volunteer Services and Outdoor Adventure Coordinator (VSOAC for short) and the role couldn’t have been more perfectly suited for anyone else. Naturally, Chad takes every opportunity to find the outdoors and go hiking, running, or mountain biking--so if you need a sherpa, he’s your man.
Oh, by the way he digs the movie Top Gun, never turns down gourmet hamburgers, listens to ALL music (but can’t remember the names of songs), won’t forget a face, would say his spirit animal is a lion, and loves coffee or a good local beer with a story. Go Navy! Beat Army!
