Homer Brown is a native to Idaho County and grew up in White Bird, Idaho. As a kid he spent his time running up and down the river banks and tributaries of the Salmon River fishing every species that swam its waters. Homer started working on the river during high school catching bait for Jet Boat Outfitters and working for rafting companies setting up camp as a swamper. After he returned home from the United States Army, Homer pursued his Captain’s license and started working as a Jet Boat Captain doing what he truly loves…guiding fishing trips on the river.
