Looking for 5 more volunteers to be part of the Shifting Gears Program to help make that happen. --- The Shifting Gears Program: Our partnership with the BoiseBicycleProject to train veterans in prison to become highly skilled bicycle mechanics. They find #PURPOSE through their work; the bikes they repair are given to low-income and refugee children through BBP. They #LEARN a trade that can help them find quality employment. We #CONNECT them to the Mission43 pillars so they can succeed in our community when they are released. --- Take action: Mission43 is looking for 6 veterans to commit to volunteering 1-2 times a month for the program. Potential for a high-level bike maintenance course scholarship.
