There’s more to health than how you look. There’s more to fitness than having the perfect body. There’s more to you than your body. Like many folks out there plagued and affected by the dominance of mainstream fitness and diet culture, you might struggle with an over-obsession with exercise, diets, and weight loss. Maybe you swore off working out altogether because you fear getting too obsessed with it and going overboard. Letting it run your life, the choices you make, the experiences you have, what you eat, etc. But once you choose to change your mindset (when you’re ready), to moving because your body deserves to be healthy and feel good physically, you can hopefully find exercise more enjoyable and stop seeing it as a punishment for your beautiful, totally-worth-loving-in-all-forms body.
