Protestors outside parliament in #CapeTown around noon today. #Zuma has fired finance minister #Gordhan in what many see as a move to reinforce his control and put more money from the treasury into his own pockets, along with the mega-rich and powerful #Gupta family. The anti-Zuma sentiment is only growing with each move he makes, yet his power is only increasing. Interestingly (and sadly), it looks a lot like the road that the #UnitedStates is headed down with 45's presidency.
