A Tale Of 2 Racez (Remix) - realcoleworld 1. DEKA FIT - 33:29 (PR) - 7th overall Made my deka.fit Elite debut at DEKA Carolina's and got to toe the line with some of the best in the sport. I've been hesitant to jump in and race Elite because of self-doubt and feelings that I don't belong on the start line with these dudes. My main goal for this race was to overcome that and prove to myself I can hold my own. I wanted to race free of expectations and pressure. On the backside, I did want to PR and finish in the top 10. The race started fast. I stuck around through Zone 4. My zone work (13:11 total) kept me the fight but the glaring difference was total run time. I am simply not fast enough. I'll be relentlessly working on that. There are many takeaways from this race, both positive and negative. I'm glad I stepped into the Elite field Saturday morning. 2.
