This group of Crusaders is currently on a service trip to Portland, Maine as part of our CHS Companions Program, in which juniors respond to the Ignatian call to service via immersion trips.
The students and leaders have been serving in various capacities in Portland at churches and other community service organizations.
The group is being led by Dean’s Office Manager Maria Pieroni and math teacher Anne Lipp-Read (far right).
Also this week, a CHS Companions Program group traveled to Montana to serve in various capacities in a small town named for the founder of the Jesuits, St. Ignatius.
Canisius students have also participated in immersion trips to Puerto Rico, Mexico and New Orleans within the last year.
