So High School #NIL in #Northcarolina is a mess... Private School Athletes CAN PARTICIPATE and public school athletes CAN NOT PARTICIPATE... Whatever the motives of the “powers that be” the result is that the highest profile athletes (albeit far from the majority of overall athletes) will either go to private school on scholarship to take advantage of their platform while they have it or move to another state that allows them to participate. Not sure of the legalities of the decision by the #NCHSAA but the resulting impact has very quickly been seen... Congrats to Kendre - Possibly higher quality education, possibly more exposure from a bigger city, new relationships resulting in new opportunity now and in life, financial gains and more... Can’t argue with that #NCAA #NIL #Playerdevelopment
