My Hero (Foo Fighters)...June is Military Veteran’s PTSD Awareness Month. Our military veterans are heroes—strong and brave survivors of war. Yet they are also vulnerable to the aftereffects, and it’s estimated that 10-30% of all war veterans experience Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). My great grandfather had it after serving in WWII, before there was a name for it. Fireworks on July 4 were very hard for him, as the noises triggered difficult memories.
