Filming this video for “Evaporate” was so awesome in Malibu. We filmed this on my favorite beach, Leo Carrillo State Park. The waves were so high at times that I got taken under the water with the violin. It was a stunt double violin, a cheap one off of eBay that looked surprising good (but sounded terrible). I ended up breaking the violin at the end of the video. That was unplanned, but I loved breaking that VSO (violin shaped object). The pieces did break in the air and one shot out and slightly cut my ear.
