Trouble with double unders? Here are 3 things to practice! 1. ELBOWS IN! - as your elbows come out, your jump rope will shorten. Ways to practice this include holding a towel in your armpit. 2. Handles in your periphery - as you bring your rope further out to the side, the shorter it gets as well. 3. Practice jumping STRAIGHT UP - you want to practice jumping while keeping your legs long (no clamshelling or butt kicking). A high single under will help teach you the height and effort needed to achieve your double under. 4. It’s all in the wrists. Control your rope with your wrists, not your arms!
