I’ll be heading to Phoenix this week for the HLAA Conference and I’d love to meet you! HLAA was the first conference I ever attended NOT as a professional. It was hugely eye opening for me - I’d never been such an inclusive and accessible environment PLUS being surrounded by hundreds of other DHH adults. All of the sessions were looped, captioned AND interpreted with ASL. Instagram is great for making connections that you might not make in the real world, but there is something so special about meeting your online friends in real life! If you’re at the 2024 HLAA Convention this week I’d love to say hi!
